Do U AI ("the app", "we", "us"), operated by Flowdak Music / Eric Scott, lets you turn your photos into images, videos, and audio using artificial intelligence. This section addresses Apple App Review Guideline 5.1.1 requirements regarding the collection, use, disclosure, sharing, retention, and deletion of face data.
Do U AI does not independently collect or store face data as a biometric template. When you choose a photo for a creation, Apple's on-device Vision framework may detect the presence and location of faces in that photo. This detection runs entirely on your iPhone — the face coordinates never leave your device and are never stored on disk or on any server. The only face-related information that leaves your device is the photo itself (which may depict a face), and only when you actively tap a create button after giving consent.
The photo you submit (which may include your face) is used solely to produce the creative result you requested — for example, animating it into a video, transforming it into a 3D character, editing facial features, or generating a new image. Specifically:
Face data is never used for advertising, facial recognition, identification, authentication, biometric enrollment, or training of our own AI models. Face data is never collected passively or in the background — it is processed only when you actively choose a photo and tap a create button.
Yes — the photo you submit (which may include your face) is transmitted through our secure AI processing pathway to the third-party AI providers listed above, solely to generate the content you requested. Face data is not sold, licensed, or shared with any other party for advertising.
Do U AI does not permanently store face data on its own servers for identity purposes. Photos uploaded temporarily to enable URL-based video generation are hosted ephemerally and automatically deleted within one hour. Third-party AI providers process your data only to return your result and retain it according to their own published policies. Those providers provide protections equal to or greater than those described in this privacy policy for the processing they perform, and their customer terms typically prohibit using customer content to train their models.
On-device face detection results are ephemeral — they exist only for the duration of the current creation session and are never saved to disk or any server. Photos uploaded to our servers for URL-based video generation are automatically deleted within one hour of upload. Creations you choose to save are stored locally on your device unless you delete them. Third-party AI providers retain submitted data only as long as necessary to produce and return the requested result, and not for training or any other purpose beyond delivering your result.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, microphone audio for recording, browsing history, or any data you do not actively submit to a creative tool.
Data is collected only when you actively use a feature — for example, selecting a photo, typing a prompt, or tapping a create button. Nothing is sent to AI providers until you have given consent on the in-app data-sharing screen shown before your first creation.
Your submitted photos and prompts are used solely to generate the image, video, or audio you requested, to save your creations when you choose, to manage subscriptions/coins, and to provide support. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
To create your content, your submitted photo and/or prompt may be transmitted to the following third-party AI providers. Each provides protections equal to or greater than those described here for the processing they perform:
Receives your selected photo and prompt to animate it into video with audio and lip-sync.
Receives your selected photo and/or prompt to generate video clips.
Receives your selected photo and/or prompt to edit and generate images.
Receives your text prompt to generate speech and sound effects.
Handle App Store purchases and subscription status. They do not receive your creative photos for AI generation.
Photos uploaded temporarily to enable URL-based video generation are automatically deleted within one hour. On-device face detection results are ephemeral. Creations you save are stored on your device until you delete them. Third-party providers process your data only to return your result and retain it according to their own policies.
Before any creative data leaves your device for AI processing, the app shows a consent screen disclosing what is sent and to whom. You must agree before any creation is made. You can review this disclosure in the app’s Privacy settings. You may revoke consent, delete local content, delete your account where available, or email us for deletion help as described in the Face Data section.
Do U AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. When you add a child’s photo to a Crew or creation, you confirm you have the right to use that photo.
We may update this policy as Do U AI evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
